As you know, if you have SEAn one you have SEAn them all!

We start this cruise with three Sea Days.  On the calendar I make in Word before I start a trip I have added, in traditional Sunday – Saturday calendar form, everything I need to know about a trip.  Flight times and codes, hotel confirmations, port transfer verification, sailing times and docking times. I also include special events, tours and the appropriate info about times and payments, reservations, and social gatherings.  I have it in a plastic envelope that sits on a desk or dresser top.  Behind the calendar I add every piece of paper given to me on a trip.  A ticket stub, a map, a brochure and for cruising the daily event schedule.

This is, if you haven’t sailed before, a four page news update about tomorrow that is left on your bed each evening by your Cabin Attendant.  It will have information about the dress code for dinner, the expected weather, special events and also port or sea life information.  On the back page is generally a list of restaurant, theater, lounges, and shopping hours.  Contact info for every possible need.  Inside one page is sort of what I would call Big Ideas. Today, which also the name of the Celebrity Cruise Lines sheet, I see there is a Hot Glass Class on the Lawn.  This is on Deck 15.  Or I can try out Acupuncture.

The Red Lunar Elcipse was totally cool for our laste night viewing - the Eclipse on the Eclipse!

The important page for me is the inside, right side.  This is an activity list that is broken up in up to fifteen minute increments of every possible thing you might wish to do or see or place to be.  The night before I highlight the must dos.  For example I have marked Mickey Live for today at 10:00a.m.A Latin Dance Class at 11.  I can’t miss the Progressive Trivia at 2:15 which is moving today to the Sky Lounge.  We are in second place by only one point!  Wish I fought harder for a couple answers yesterday.

At three thirty is a comedy game show titled Latins vs. the Rest of the World.  Sounds funny to me with this particular C.D. hosting. And it was hysterical.  The audience participants really played it up and the poor host was almost left in the dust.  I can skip the Afternoon Easy Jog as I tried just walking the track this morning past the tied down chairs and empty pool.   Reminds me why I left Chicago!  Cold and high winds!  Had to stop to hold on a couple times.

I will go to the Snapshot Rally to enter a photo for sharing.  And watch a short show from last night’s entertainers – Shades of Buble. (Tuesday night entertainment)  Probably will skip the big show called Rock City. Ac/Dc isn’t my thing.

Monday night featured a musical fantasy by the Production cast.

So as we have established.  There is plenty to choose from on a cruise ship.  Anna likes to go to the gym.  She won’t be in the pool today.  Not sure why they haven’t closed them as even the Solarium Pool washes dangerously high over the tiled ledges.  I seldom read as much as I think I will.  I always eat more than I think I will.  I have an included Drinks Package so there you go!  (Good thing it includes Amaretto Chai Lattes in Café al Bacio!

The excellent Shades of Buble singers gave a mini-performance or should I say ½ show.  After dinner one evening they took the center of the Grand Foyer for a half hour and more songs.  They were using a sound track since the orchestra doesn’t fit there and a band isn’t quite enough.  At one point the track wasn’t able to be pulled up so they went old school – acappela.

Although three sea days seem a lot there are, especially in this trip, it is a great break of hectic schedule keeping and getting up and going.  Ahhhh!!!
